Grants are fixed for each type of measure as indicated below:

Home Energy Saving Scheme (HES)

South Dublin Construction Ltd. is SEI registered and an

approved contractor for the recently announced Home

Energy Savings Scheme. (Contractor ID No 11283)

This national retrofitting grant approved scheme is open

to all homeowners interested in reducing their heating

bills and green house gas emissions by upgrading their

homes.

The scheme includes grants for insulation upgrades to

roofs and walls, including cavity walls, internal drylining

or external insulation. The scheme also includes grants

for Heating Control Upgrades and Building Energy

Rating Assessments.

South Dublin Construction Ltd. has extensive experience

already in the area of home improvement and to this end

we are ideally placed to deliver in the area of retrofitting.

 

As well as the practical experience South Dublin

Construction Ltd. also has Building Energy Rating

Assessors who will advise clients, prior to any works, on

the upgrade measures he or she needs to undertake to

improve the home’s energy efficiency.

A Building Energy Rating conducted after the retrofitting

measures are finished will confirm the impact of the

works and give the homeowner comfort regarding their

investment.
